Scaffolding a Project

The fastest way to a working project is the scaffolder:

npm create chainrender@latest my-app

You'll be asked what you're building:

  • Single component (T1) — a minimal HTML page with the one-eth_call render loop. Best for embedding a component in an existing site.
  • Mini-app (T2) — a React project composing a few components with a live grade badge.
  • Full app (T3) — the flagship pattern: a resolver reading on-chain data + multi-view + a themed chart, grade A. Best starting point for a real dApp frontend.
  • Farcaster Mini App — a component packaged for Farcaster distribution.

Then:

cd my-app
npm install
npm run dev # (React templates) — or open index.html (HTML template)

Every scaffold is grade-A by construction — you cannot generate an ungradeable project, and a live grade() badge shows your trust level as you build. The scaffolder is manifest-driven: new templates are added as manifest entries, never as forked code.
